David L. Brown, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Brown has been a board member since August 1999, our chief executive officer
and president since August 2000, and our president from August 1999 to March 2000.
From March 2000 to August 2000, Mr. Brown was employed by Atlantic Partners Group.
Mr. Brown founded Atlantic Teleservices, a technology services company, in 1997,
and, from 1997 until its acquisition by us in August 1999, served as its chief executive
officer. Mr. Brown holds a B.A. in general studies from Harvard College.
Jeffrey M. Stibel, President
Mr. Stibel currently serves as President and a member of the Board of Directors
of Web.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: WWWW). He was previously President and CEO of Interland,
Inc. (NASDAQ: INLD). Mr. Stibel was part of the founding management team at United
Online (NASDAQ: UNTD), a technology company that owns and operates leading web services,
including NetZero, Juno, and Classmates.com. Prior to United Online, Mr. Stibel
was founder, Chairman and CEO of Simpli, Inc., a search and marketing technology
company currently owned by ValueClick (NASDAQ: VCLK). He serves on the board of
directors for Web.com, Autobytel (NASDAQ: ABTL) and several private companies, including
The Search Agency and EdgeCast. He also serves on the Board of Brown University's
Entrepreneurship Program and Tufts University's Gordon Center for Leadership. Mr.
Stibel has authored numerous academic and trade articles on a variety of subjects
and is the named inventor on the US patent for search engine interfaces. He received
a Master's degree from Brown University and studied business and brain science at
MIT's Sloan School of Management and at Brown University, where he was a Brain and
Behavior Fellow.
Kevin Carney, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Carney has been our chief financial officer since January 2002. From September
2000 to January 2002 and from August 1999 to June 2000, Mr. Carney served as our
Director of Finance. From June 2000 to September 2000, Mr. Carney was employed by
Atlantic Partners Group. From June 1998 until its acquisition by us in August 1999,
Mr. Carney served as the chief financial officer of Atlantic Teleservices. Mr. Carney
is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in accounting and finance from
Boston College.
Roseann Duran, Chief Marketing Officer
Ms. Duran has been our senior vice president, marketing, since March 2002. From
January 2001 until March 2002, Ms. Duran was managing partner and founder of Odyssey,
Inc., a company specializing in strategic planning and marketing for small businesses
and Internet companies. From August 2000 until January 2001, Ms. Duran was vice
president of e-dr.com, a business-to-business Internet company for eye care practitioners.
Prior to August 2000, Ms. Duran was an independent marketing consultant. Ms. Duran
holds an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from
the University of North Florida.
Vikas Rijsinghani, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Rijsinghani serves as Chief Technology Officer. Mr.Rijsinghani has extensive
technical and management experience and combines a deep understanding of current
technologies with the ability to execute across various business models. Mr.Rijsinghani
has created and led technology divisions at several companies. He was Chief Technology
Officer and a founding member of VerticalOne Corporation which was sold to S1 Corporation
and was Chief Technology Officer at Proficient Systems. Previously, Mr.Rijsinghani
was President of Neoglyphics Media Corporation, a website design and consulting
firm. In addition, he held various senior technology management roles at Sun Microsystems
and PriceWaterhouse. He graduated from Cornell University with dual degrees in Computer
Science and Electrical Engineering.
Gonzalo Troncoso, President Web Services
Mr. Troncoso serves as President of Web Services. Mr. Troncoso brings diverse finance
and accounting experience having held posts in the US, Europe and Latin America.
Before joining Web.com in 2001, he was Chief Financial Officer of SRC International.
Mr. Troncoso had also served in executive finance roles for Chatham Technologies
International, Anixter International and PSINet. He also held several mid-management
positions at Colgate-Palmolive. Mr. Troncoso earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance
& Accounting from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and holds an MBA from St. Joseph's
University in Philadelphia.
Peter Delgrosso, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications
Mr. Delgrosso serves as SVP, Corporate Communications for Web.com. In this role,
Delgrosso oversees all communications efforts for the company, including investor,
media and public relations. Mr. Delgrosso joined the Company through the merger
with Website Pros in September 2007 where he served in the same role since August
2005. Prior to Web.com, Delgrosso spent five years at United Online (NASDAQ: UNTD)
and was most recently Vice President, Corporate Communications. Prior to United
Online, Mr. Delgrosso was Director of Public Relations for Simpli.com, a start-up
specializing in search and marketing technology, which was acquired by NetZero (NASDAQ:
NZRO) in September 2000. Prior to Simpli.com, Delgrosso held various executive positions
at high-tech public relations firms including The Weber Group and Blanc and Otus.
Mr. Delgrosso earned a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Television-Radio with a minor
in History from Ithaca College.
Tobias Dengel, Senior Vice President Business Development
Mr. Dengel joined us as our executive vice president, Leads.com in April 2005. Mr.
Dengel served as president and chief operating officer of Leads.com, Inc. from its
inception in June 2003 until its acquisition by us in April 2005. From August 2002
until co-founding Leads.com in June 2003, Mr. Dengel was vice president, AOL Yellow
Pages and Digital Cities with America Online, Inc., an Internet company. From March
1997 until August 2002, Mr. Dengel served in various roles with America Online,
including vice president and director in the business affairs unit. Mr. Dengel holds
a B.S. in economics and a B.S. in engineering, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
Chris Nowlin, Senior Vice President Human Resources
Mr. Nowlin serves as SVP, Human Resources for Web.com. Mr. Nowlin possesses diverse
human resources, compensation and organizational development experience as well
as traditional business experience, gained during several operational roles throughout
his career, primarily in the technology and insurance sectors. Mr. Nowlin joined
Web.com from HostPro and has served in several human resources leadership positions,
including Director of Compensation, followed by Director of Human Resources. Prior
to joining Web.com in 1999, he served in a multitude of human resources leadership
positions for the Automobile Club of Southern California. Mr. Nowlin earned a Bachelor's
Degree in Sociology & Business from Pepperdine University and also holds an MBA
from Pepperdine University's, Graziadio School of Business and Management.
Joel Williamson, Senior Vice President Operations
Mr. Williamson has been our Senior Vice President of Operations since February 2002.
Previously, Mr. Williamson was President of Delta Training and Education, a technology
training company. Mr. Williamson holds an undergraduate degree from the University
of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Emory University.
Gregory Wong, Senior Vice President Corporate Development
Mr. Wong is SVP, Corporate Development for Web.com. Prior to Web.com, Mr. Wong was
a founding member of FBR's Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group and led
the Enterprise, Network, and Internet Software corporate finance practice. During
his over 11 year tenure at the investment bank, he completed over 35 initial public
offerings, follow-on equity offerings, buy-side and sell-side merger & acquisition
transactions, strategic advisory assignments, and private placements with aggregate
transactions totaling $2.3 billion. Prior to FBR, he served six years as a U.S.
Navy Officer in the Nuclear Propulsion Program. Mr. Wong has an M.B.A. in Finance
from The George Washington University and B.S. from the University of Notre Dame.
Matthew P. McClure, In-House Counsel
Mr. McClure plans and directs all aspects of Web.com's legal affairs and provides
hands-on counsel to all levels of executive staff. Prior to joining the company,
Mr. McClure was the Senior Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Direct General Corporation
and focused on SEC reporting and regulatory compliance. Prior to Direct General,
Mr. McClure served in numerous roles at The Seibels Bruce Group, Inc., including
Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to Seibels Bruce,
Mr. McClure was Manager of Financial Planning with Air South Airlines, Inc. Mr.
McClure holds a B.S. in management from Clemson University and a Juris Doctorate
and MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Board of Directors
Hugh M. Durden
Hugh M. Durden has proven expertise in all aspects of business including corporate
finance, commercial and corporate banking, investment banking and real estate. Mr.
Durden has been chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Alfred I. duPont Testamentary
Trust since 2005. From 1997 through 2004, Mr. Durden served as the representative
of the corporate trustee of the Trust. Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Durden was
an executive with the Wachovia Corporation, serving as president of Wachovia Corporate
Services from 1994 to 2000. Mr. Durden is a director of the St. Joe Company (NYSE:
JOE), a real estate development company. He holds a B.A. from Princeton University
and an M.B.A. from the Freeman Graduate School of Business at Tulane University.
Julius Genachowski
Julius Genachowski has vast experience in the Internet, e-Commerce, and media, and
played a key role in building IAC/InterActiveCorp (Nasdaq: IACI) into one of the
world's largest e-Commerce and media companies. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Genachowski
served in senior executive positions at IAC, including chief of business operations,
general counsel, and a member of the Office of the Chairman. Before joining IAC,
Mr. Genachowski was chief counsel to the chairman of the Federal Communications
Commission. Prior to joining the FCC, he served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court
Justice David H. Souter and, before that, to retired Justice William J. Brennan,
Jr. and to Chief Judge Abner J. Mikva of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C.
Circuit. He has served as an aide to U.S. Senator (the Representative) Charles E.
Schumer and to the Iran-Contra Committee. Mr. Genachowski served on the Board of
Directors of Expedia, Inc., Hotels.com, and Ticketmaster while each was a publicly
traded company. He holds a B.A. from Columbia College and a J.D. from Harvard Law
School.
Alex Kazerani
Mr. Kazerani is currently CEO of EdgeCast Networks Inc. Kazerani has founded and
successfully led a number of business initiatives including KnowledgeBase.net and
HostPro, Inc. and has extensive experience developing and designing technology solutions
and operations for web hosting applications and data center build-outs. In addition
to this position, Kazerani is an investor in several venture capital and angel funds
and was a finalist at the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year award. Kazerani
earned a B.A. degree in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University.
Tim I. Maudlin
Timothy Maudlin has served as a member of our Board of Directors since February
2002 and was appointed Lead Director in January 2007. Mr. Maudlin is also a director
of Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since September 2006, and is currently
a member of its Audit Committee and its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Mr. Maudlin currently serves on the board of directors of three private companies.
Mr. Maudlin served as a managing partner of Medical Innovation Partners, a venture
capital firm, from 1989 until 2007. From 1999 to 2001, he served as a principal
and as chief financial officer of Venturi Group, LLC, an incubator and venture capital
firm. Beginning in 1984 until June 2006, Mr. Maudlin served on the board of directors
of Curative Health Services, Inc. (“Curative”), a biopharmaceutical company, and
from February 2005 until June 2006, Mr. Maudlin served as its chairman. In March
2006, Curative filed a voluntary petition for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 and in
June 2006, it emerged from bankruptcy. He is a certified public accountant and holds
a B.A. from St. Olaf College and a M.M. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern
University.
Robert S. McCoy, Jr.
Mr. McCoy has been a director of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. since November 2003
and is currently the Chairman of its Audit Committee and a member of its Governance
Committee. He has been a director of MedCath Corporation since October 2003 and
is currently the Chairman of its Audit Committee and Governance and Nominating Committee
and a member of its Compliance Committee. Mr. McCoy retired in September 2003 as
Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Wachovia Corporation, a diversified
financial services company, where he had been a senior executive officer since 1991.
